While you might think veganism is reserved for celebrities, switching to an entirely plant-based diet has quickly infiltrated the world of sports. In recent years, it seems as though more and more athletes have begun to adopt a vegan diet. But, how can a professional athlete maintain a rigorous workout schedule and be a vegan?
According to PETA, athletes can adopt a vegan diet without worrying about being malnourished or unable to build and maintain muscle, and obviously many athletes and their trainers agree.
